New Nasturtium Blooms

Remember I planted Nasturtium “here and there” in my  garden in December? Here is a photo I took this morning of the “Spitfire” Nasturtium from Renee’s Garden Seeds blooming away on this sunny Saturday morning in January. I love the color orange when it’s in a natural setting surrounded by green foliage. Have a great weekend!

Renee’s Seed packet describes these nasturtium as: “Brilliant, scarlet-red blossoms shine out amongst trailing lily-pad shaped green foliage and their nectar is adored by hovering humming-birds.”
I have to agree with that quote!

thanks for the bright, pretty pix of your nasturtiums. We still have snow on the ground, but I have one plant blooming, ‘John Clayton’ honeysuckle with yellow blooms.
