Tony’s Front Yard Garden

I drove to San Juan Capistrano, CA today to photograph a Front Yard Garden. For years I have heard of “Tony’s Front Yard Pumpkin Patch” and wanted to share this great idea on my blog. Tony’s yard was more than a pumpkin patch: it was a complete botanical wonder! There were gourds, tomatoes, sunflowers, succulents, pumpkins of all sizes, zucchini, lavender, strawberries, artichoke, and the list went on and on. I fell in love with the idea of creating a garden in the front yard that invites neighbors in, and shares the gift of gardening with all who walk by. Tony said he does not have a method, or science to his garden, he just keeps planting what he loves! Thank you for the gardening inspiration and visit to your magical front yard.
